Derrick Trudell, better known as FVX_FVCKLEY, is a bass music producer, DJ, and founder of Excalibur Bass, based in Edmonton, Alberta. Born in Chatham, Ontario, and raised in Lakeshore County, Derrick has spent over 22 years producing music, with a passion rooted in dubstep and underground bass culture.
His sound draws from deep dub, wonky bass, riddim, brostep, drum & bass, and breakbeats, delivering heavy low-end energy and dark, immersive atmospheres. After years in the studio, he stepped behind the decks in early 2025 for the first time ever and quickly gained recognition for high-energy sets packed with underground selections and powerful bass.
Through Excalibur Bass, Derrick helps power raves, festivals, and underground events with a focus on delivering unforgettable sound system experiences.
