I started to DJ 10 years ago, because nobody would play my favourite tunes! I grabbed gigs wherever I could, in some unlikely places - The Sahara, Portugal, Thailand, Vietnam, Ukraine ..... Llandewi Brevi. You just keep plugging away and eventually you get noticed.

The last couple of years things have started to take off and I have played parties, gigs and festivals in the UK, Thailand and Portugal.

I love chunky funky dance music from almost any genre, but for me, a tune has to have a dose of funky and a twist of psy. And nowadays I am as happy in the chillout or the alternative stage, as I am on the main dancefloor.

I am a 100% digital DJ, using Traktor on a MacBook Pro. I have a huge music collection at my fingertips, a collection that charts the story of electronic music from the beginning.

Born in 1957, my first musical influence was "Telstar", 1962, the first single to chart using an electronic instrument.

I wish I had invented the word "funkadelic" but I didn't!
