FunktheDirt's first indulgence with dance music was in the 90's from the likes of Snap, Real to Reel and many other early pioneers of the dance scene.
After moving to London at the tender age of 17 and experiencing the vivid nightlife and the musical pleasures that were on offer, he decided get involved in the dance music industry playing vocal funky house and dirty miami bass at many private parties and gigs in underground clubs in London under a different alias.

In the middle of 2005 FunktheDirt decided to take an untimely break and focus on other projects outside of the dance and music industry which saw him traveling to many exotic countries far and wide, but missed his passion of playing good music to a loving crowd.

January 2012 sees FunktheDirt deciding to come back into the music scene after a long break and he's ready to pleasure those eardrums for all of you again, playing a range of deep house, funky house, minimal tech, progressive and electro house.
