We NU ALPHA KAPPA, seek the unity and involvement of all students in a more harmonious and brotherly atmosphere through academic, cultural, and social means. There is a need to interface the various backgrounds that constitute the student body at Fresno State in order to improve relations amongst all students and the community in Fresno.

Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. was established in 1988 at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Since its founding in 1988, Nu Alpha Kappa has grown to be California's Largest Latino based fraternity. At present, Nu Alpha Kappa is comprised of twenty-one chapters representing some of California's, Nevada's, and Colorado's most prestigious private and state funded universities with a membership of over 1000 strong.
