Free Pile is my excuse to sit in a comfy studio and listen to my favorite music, which includes lots of rock, folk, country, blues, "indie" rock, old-timey stuff, etc, and also exploring new albums, usually CDs I check out of the library, or have borrowed from friends, or have purchased from the used record store for around $3. I also enjoy investigating the contents of WRFI's ever-expanding music library. I generally pick out songs as i go, often guided by whim or chance. My musical tastes are very particular, but hard to define. I play music that makes me sing along off-key in the studio, and let's just hope I remembered to turn off the mic. Free Pile currently airs on Monday night, 7-9 pm
