Frederik Behr from Darmstadt (Germany), playing the piano since he was 5 years old, made his first steps with a computer and an old Yamaha-Keyboard when he was 12, started his electronic-music career in the year 2001. Working and producing as a team with a DJ resulted in the project 'The Butterflies', which was released on 'Shooting Star Rec.'
In 2003, for the first time as FRED FAT, his remix LOVEMAN appeared on 'Low Spirit', the Berlin located label of DJ WESTBAM and can also be heard on the compilation 'Loveparade-Wintersession 2003/2004’.

The years passed by with a lot of releases on Kayowa Rec., which was founded by Dj Kayowa, the production partner of his first single "The Butterflies". But over the years he decided to go back to the roots in producing House-Music, not the Electro-House like in 2003, more Jazz and Balearic influenced tracks.
