Formed after many house parties at the Frederick Street pad, Legoman, Rythmatix and Swanky combined to become the Frederick Crew.

Their sound is a unique combination of liquid, deep, neuro-funk and jump-up Drum’n’Bass with a reputation for being able to smash the biggest crowds with massive tunes and upfront mixing (which has led to great individual results at New Zealand’s Rumble in the Jungle, Redbull 3Style and Future DJ competitions) as well as hold their own at day festivals, in side rooms and at pool halls.

Regular events around Wellington have led to support slots for Andy C, Nero, Digital, Cyantific, TC, Mampi Swift, S.P.Y, Utah Jazz, Nymfo, Shock:One, Klute, DJ Fresh, Bungle, State of Mind, Concord Dawn, Trei and The Upbeats, with more local and national events forthcoming in 2011.
