Kent, United Kingdom

Most of my musical influence came my Dad and Uncle's taste in Country Music, I also remember sitting on the back of a high back chair listening to Radio Luxembourg on a Sunday afternoon. As I got older I got into Rock and Roll, in about 1965 we moved to just outside of Gravesend Kent, and got a job as a storeman in a supermarket that had been converted from an old cinema and it still had a stage, so one a Sunday afternoon we would open up the curtains, and with the ad of an record player ( no laptops then ) I got may first taste of being a D J.
I'm member of East Kent Morris Minor Club is were I started doing quiz and music, that when I decided to start up my D J Southern Star, most of my first gigs were at the Age UK in Faversham had a few other gigs, Up to date I am at the Manston CMC once a week and at Claws' N ' Paws at Teynham every month, plus a music group at the Umbrella Center every week.
Then in 2021 Radio Faversham asked me if I would to join there crew as a presenter
