BIOGRAPHY FRANKSEN

Franksen goes way back in the history of Frankfurt's electronic scene. Having hosted Germany's eldest radio DJ Show, YOU FM Clubnight (formerly simply known as CLUBNIGHT) for more than a dozen years, he represented electronic music culture 360° for 15 years. As a dj, producer and music journalist (for BEAT magazine) he boasts versatile skills and follows his unique approach on an endless groove journey.

Only a few can flow like he does, they say. Taking into account his flawless and effortlessly grooving sets which honour both style, skillz and (the often hidden) soul of house- and techno music.

Today he brodcasts on public radio station hr2 Kultur and YOU FM with his electronic listening format NIGHT VOYAGE, boasting an iconographic as well as historically oriented mixture. Electronic music’s culture in between Deephouse, Ambient, Electronica and Breaks of various tempi is on his menu, and really... everything goes, when you soundtravel with Franksen ON AIR!
