Frances Eugenia’s (AKA Puerto Rican Knife Gang) love of next level dance music and dirty dance floors began on the streets of New Orleans, taking her straight to the seedy nightclubs of New York. Since becoming a downtown staple in 2002, Frances Eugenia has been commanding NYC dance floors as both DJ and Host.
Since her beginnings as the Resident DJ for the Infamous NYC Latex designer Baroness’ Fetish Retinue, Frances Eugenia has gone forth to command such venues as Byte NYC, Onyx, Happy Endings, Piano’s, Capitale, Rebel
NYC, Arlo & Esme, Odea, Uncle Ming’s, The Delancey, LPR, and Beauty Bar NYC .
A standard for pushing the limits of social norms, Frances Eugenia reflects the newest sounds in NY dance music culture. A no boundaries approach enables her to play anything from House, Pop, Dubstep, to Gothic//Industrial and Darkwave.
Always elegant and forever decadent, Frances Eugenia continues to draw local celebrities and club photographers to venues and dance floors alike.
