I started my music journey receiving Gary Numan 'Cars' on 7'' for my 7th or 8th birthday and have been hooked since. I was introduced to the Acid House scene in 1990 frequenting Rickys in Leeds with Gary Norman, Graeme Dixon and sometimes Sasha on the ones and twos. Like Steve Williams (Legend), I threw the towel in 1993 when music lost that magic of the 88-92 style and have bought and sold numerous pairs of 1210's since my initial sale of 6,000 vinyl, so have owned another 6,000 since :). There are still some mixes in my line up from 1990-92 era live at clubs or bedroom mixes. Nowadays I spend my time still trawling through the tens of thousands of tracks I have to hand, so sorry, there are more and more mixes without too much duplication of music. Love to Barrie Jay, top top dj, my idol John Jepson and the likes of John Peel and Giles Peterson for playing off left field.
