IT'S FUNKTOBER!

Enough with the pumpkin-spice "blah blah blah". These recordings are smoky, stank, and bumpin'! Fall weather may make you feel like you need a sweater, but you can just as easily crank up these jams, and dancing up some body heat is much more fun!

This week's playlist includes Otis McDonald, Lyrics Born, Neal Francis, Wilson Pickett, Etta James, Soopasoul, The Allergies, and Buddy Guy, to name a few.

Move the furniture out of the way and turn this UP! Drop me a comment below, share the link with a friend, get your groove on!

For Funk's Sake airs every week on OWWR, Old Westbury Web Radio (owwrny.org) and is hosted by me, Bruce Caines. Welcome!
