My love for Hip Hop began as a method for me and my friends to escape gangs, drugs, and violence. My life’s mission has been to engage the youth with performing arts to motivate them to pursue their own passion and hone their craft. I have forty years of experience in being involved with the Hip Hop community. My contributions to Hip Hop have been as a dancer, DJ, choreographer, dance teacher, dance judge, play writer, director, and videographer, among others. I continue to serve as a consultant providing advice for the development of performing arts schools, programs, events, fundraisers, marketing, and outreach strategies.

Hip Hop is part of who I am and I love sharing the culture because our youth are too often told they cannot not live from what they love, but I am proof that you can.
