I hate to start like, but I am a sound explorer who’s moved through theater, DJ booths, and long commutes with music. I started DJing in Rio de Janeiro in 1997 and kept spinning until 2018, threading together disco, dub, drum'n'bass, MPB, Afrobeat, post-punk, and whatever else pulses me. These days, music is more than a soundtrack — it's my escape and my resistance, stitched into the rhythm of early mornings, rain-soaked thoughts, and four-hour train rides between work and dreams.
I like music that blooms in rage and hits with certain urgency. It feels like blood starting to flow again. The bass must be a guide whispering the first line of something important.
I cherish the sun when it finally rises. Most of the time, I’m alone, and I’ve learned to honor that, it teached me criativity, and ultimately, real work.
