D&B/Jungle.
DJs Bo!ne, Dial8, Kryptonite & Smokin J formed Flame Kru in 1996 in Hackney, London. Born in house parties and illegal raves we started getting other gigs in London, and were 1/3 of the legendary Triology raves with Kult & Raya from 1997-2000. We joined pioneering internet 'pirate' station Interface in 1998. The Kru expanded, with DJs Mikey T, and Vlad & Dushka becoming regulars, and MCs Breaker Jay (Code Breaker) & Tech One, Eksman & Herbs and Shaydee. The Interface shows - up to 10,000 worldwide listeners every Saturday night - led to us taking the London sound all over the world in the years to follow, from Estonia, Poland. Latvia, Slovenia & Czech Republic, to Germany France & Holland and China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & the USA. In Sept 2000 we hosted DJs & MCs from 16 countries at the 'International D&B Convention in Normandy, France. Real life + babies came but kids grow up & we're feeling the music again!
