As a way to thank you for your support and to celebrate hitting 1,000 Mixcloud followers I thought it appropriate to share this now-classic mix which I made ... 20 years ago already!
I was originally commissioned to create this 2-CD DJ-mixed compilation by UK label Ffrr around the year 2000 , the purpose was to illustrate a 25-year slice of dance music history from my perspective as someone who has lived through most of it in NYC's underground clubs. Listening back today, it still sounds pretty fresh and relevant to what music has become two decades later.
Rather than posting the two CDs separately I decided to make them smoothly transition into one long seamless mix. For those who want to just listen to CD #2, start play from 01:15.52

Its 25 years old. Take it in for a while... This mix is 25 years old to date. It's basically selection and minimal mixing and it holds up against anything thrown at your ears in 2025. Truly the making of a very special guy.
