Philippos Mast’s a.k.a. Filmus first steps as an amateur dj were made in small bars in Thessaloniki as a student in University of Thessaloniki around 1999, influenced by electronic music area like Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Kruder & Dofmeister, Fila Brazillia, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation e.t.c.
On his return to Crete, he was main dj in many parties and acclaimed clubs all over the island.
In 2009 his first broadcasting dj sets in mixcloud became widely known and gained many listeners all around world, you can enjoy there his monthly dj sets that combines downbeats, exotic overtones and ethnic sounds.
From 2013 until now Filmus is resident dj of Daios Cove and music producer in a collaboration with international musicians performing atmospheric electronic music with elements from downtempo to organic/melodic house.
