During the last 15 years of playing major venues and festivals across Australia, and now establishing himself as a Graphic Artist and TV Producer in New York City, there has been one constant in Fidel Peña's rise to success; the love of contemporary and universal music.
Experience one of his regular bar sets and it's easy to hear why Fidel epitomizes the notion of an "all-rounder". Having cut his teeth in regional towns with fickle crowds and a myriad of private occasions, reading the audience and offering a familiar, or obscure, and sometimes surprising sound, is fundamental to his performances.
Fidel is currently a resident DJ at Laissez Faire, Make Believe, Ms. Yoo, Outerheaven and SoHo Grand, playing preferred styles of Funk, Disco, House, and Afrobeat.
