To start at the beginning… Ferry Salee (Dj Gizmo) is born in The Hague. When he was 12 years old he started a drive-in show, with which he played Disco, Soul & Funk at parties from hockey- or soccer societies. This resulted in a job at the Rollerdisco in Scheveningen in 1982. He never finished college; he was too busy turning the tables!
Round about 1992 there came a new music style, called ‘gabber’ and from then on it went fast with the career of Dj Gizmo. He turned the tables with The Dark Raver, Dj Rob and Paul Elstak at Parkzicht in Rotterdam weekly. Then the Rave the City parties came and not much later he was a member of The Dreamteam together with Buzz Fuzz, Dano and The Prophet! This famous Dj team has had gigs all over the world. In Holland Dj Gizmo performed solo as well as with The Dreamteam at parties like Mysteryland, Hellraiser, Thunderdome and Megarave, Defcon1,
