He is the ambassador designate to Change for Peace and Humanitarian Award 2017. He is the recipient of the Guardian, Beacon of Literacy Award 2015 from iRead Project. He is conferred with National Dream Personality Award 2016 by Nigeria Rebirth group in collaboration with the Ministry Of Youth and Sports. Also winner of the Nigeria Broadcasters Merit Award, 2016 for best on air personality for an evening show in Northern Nigeria. He is the finalist of the WHO is WHO Awards for Best On Air Personality from public nomination for the year 2017.
