I’m delighted to be joined by an old friend of Boxfrequency FM, Ben Ji aka Faction. Ben's done a few guest mixes for the show but this was the first time we' managed to do something together. I’ve sung this fellas praises for a long time, so I was honoured to be asked if I fancied doing a collaboration.
So...here it is, our progeny. 4 hours of music that we love , crafted from a place of genuine respect. We each have 4x 30 minute sections, covering loads of different genres, crafted together with added samples to provide a loose theme- how do we explore our shared humanity? How do we create that scared space where we can grow and nourish each other? Anyway, enough hirsute rhubarb. Hope you enjoy the music 🎵🎶😊🙏✊

Hi Matt. I didn't realize you had put this up on here! I've been away in more ways than one and I'm totally out of touch with the lovely folk on here. I deleted my facebook and don't really do any other social networking. I've had the oddest of years.......and now it's nearly over. What a treat this one was!! Unable to get through the 4 hours in one sitting so have been dipping in and out wherever and whenever, revelling in the broad array of musical tapestries on show here. Right now I'm loving that layering of the Ishq/Terry Callier.........Great work guys!
