There are very few artists who will tell you that they are not aiming to break the boundaries and norms of what techno is today, and with the overload of emerging producers in the industry, there are even fewer that succeed in creating a sound that "shocks". Fake Chicken & Cheap Soap grew very quickly from a casual project between two friends, into a respected duo, simply because the "shock" element came almost naturally to them. Their signature "groove" element is what enticed labels like Bondage Music (Berlin), Greenh'o'rn (Berlin) and Yoshitoshi (Washington, D.C.) to pick up their music, and what made established artists like Tigerskin & King Roc remix their tracks.
