Fabi Dex is born in Bremen, Germany. Back in 1994 whilst on holiday in London, completely by chance he came across the sound of the pirate station Kool FM, fell in love with it and has remained a devotee to the present day. It is especially the multifaceted styles peculiar to Drum n Bass and its absence of any rigid direction that had a special appeal from the beginning. By 1996 he was no longer satisfied by merely listening to tapes and began to pursue his interest in integrating the music into his own sets. Fabi Dex not only plays Drum n Bass, he lives the music it is firmly anchored in his whole lifestyle. This is visible to everyone who sees him performing on stage, where he comes to life, exhibiting a truly unique, innovative style. His first gig was in 1997 at a Jungle Fever Night in Hamburg. This was followed by an increasing number of gigs at events like Jungle Mania, Innovation, Kings of the Jungle ........
