I guess some of you might be wondering why it took me so long to post another mix. This is because in december 2020 I was diagnosed with Guillain Barré syndrome: the immunesystem attacks its own cells, in this case the nerves, causing the muscles to fail and a change in sensations (numbness or tingling). In 5 days I was completely paralysed, I could only move my head, and the pain was superintense. I spent 3,5 months in the ICU Unit on a ventilator, not being able to move or to talk. After this time I could move my arms a little bit but I had lost all my muscle mass. I had to learn everything again: getting out of bed, walking, eating, drinking, talking. Now, three years later I can do everything again: walking, biking, dancing! It’s been a really difficult three years and I am still not fully recovered. But I am so glad I can do what I love most again: djing and recording a new mix. Be grateful for what you have today. It can change in a heartbeat.
