In 2014, his passion for his residence city of Piraeus led him to try regional civic life, and he was voted, with an increase of than 14,000 votes - a record vote in the annals of localized council elections - first member of the City Council, functioning closely with the city's mayor, Yiannis Moralis, to deliver an agenda of urban renewal and regeneration across the municipality. Evangelos attended a good public school found in Piraeus, Greece and found in Watford, England.
