22 seconds and the bus will pull out of the station
I stare at the golden curls
while rain fills sockets
and wets hairs
scattering bittersweet drops all the way down
the imaginary sink

"you're gonna get drenched to the bones"
an old lady yelled
and the bus driver turned away

11 seconds for the bus to leave
a whole life can be burst now
but is just a black bycicle leaned against the sparkling bridge
and you think
you know you can't help it
you can't say she was wrong

I know all that woman's pain
is confined
in that poster on the wall

I feel the world spun too much last night
when we were too drunk to stop

2 seconds
the entire city hears how the engine boots up
and I'm sure the next halt
will be home
