My name is Ettienne van der Merwe from Cape Town, South Africa.

I'm currently running a freelance post production company called "The Noise Recording and Production".

My experience spread over a period of 14 years, starting off as a sound engineer, manager of a recording studio and eventually owning a recording studio. I've been involved in productions for local government, radio plays and forensic audio work to name a few. I have also released over 120 albums as a producer or engineer, consisting of various music genre's.

As far as education goes, I achieved diploma in T3 Light Current Electrical Engineering, which is of immense value in understanding filters, equalization and sound as a general.

I consider myself to be a loyal and committed person.I think one of my strengths is my determination when it comes to problem solving.

What started off as a hobby years ago, is now my work, and I still enjoy every minute of it.
