Who Is Emmy Dread?

Born on October 03, 1993, in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Emmy Dread co-founded the online newspaper and entertainment website TheAwardNews out of his college dorm room.

He concluded his National Innovational Diploma at Lagos Aviation and Maritime Business Academy (LAMBs) after his graduation year to concentrate on the site, the customer base of which has grown to more considerate amount of people.

Early Life

Emmanuel A Nelson known as Emmy Dread was born on October 03, 1993, in Bonny Island, Rivers State, into a middle-class family, and raised in the nearby Town of Bonny Kingdom.

His father, Umoh Abang Nelson, was a retired Nigerian Postal Authority (NPA). His mother, Kate, was a business woman before the birth of the couple’s Nine children—Robison, Agnes, Doris, Rose, Nathanial, Mary, Emmy, Daniel and Blessing.
