I was born and raised in a small town, Skørping in Northern Jytland, Denmark. As long as I can remember, I have always been singing and loving music. When I was 10, I learned to play the guitar, and had the first gigs on the road with my band when I was 12. Through the years I have been playing and singing in different bands, doing several recordings, backing vocals and so forth for other artists as well. All this time, my love for Country Music grew. As a result of that, I was part of starting up one of Denmark's first Country band, and we toured, amongst others, Norway and Ireland, and saw every corner of Denmark.
Three years ago I pulled the plug on “Emilie Band”, had a break, and took time to connect with my hopes and dreams for my future. Through all these years as a singer, my desire had always been to make an album to call my own, with new songs, that I can relate to and share from my heart.
