Meet Emanate, a sorceress of sound synthesis with an insatiable appetite for dark, chunky, psychedelic techno. It was after attending Twisted Frequency Festival in 2017 that Emanate was instantly drawn to the world of hypnotic bush tech, and she has been curating infectious sets ever since. Emanate’s taste for the deep and ethereal end of the techno spectrum means her sets are infused with unique sub frequencies, driving baselines and trippy melodies that guarantee a mind-bending aural journey. From many intimate South Island gatherings to larger events like Dunedin Winter Solstice, UM New Year's Festival, Sugar & Spice, and Batdogg, Emanate has a reputation for making people move. Hailing from UK, via Ōtautahi, and now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, she's excited to bring her infectious sound to the North Island and share her love for the music with new audiences.
