London born to Irish parents, Ronan Harvey performs, produces and DJ's under the name Elementalism. Currently based out of the lush jungles of Costa Rica’s forward thinking sustainability and health focused southern zone, the perfect place to explore experimental electronic future rhythms and bass.
Most recently influenced by Clozee, Nicola Cruz, El Búho and labels like Cold Cut’s ninja tune records. A history playing of UK drum and bass along side trip hop though the 90’s led to a deep love of bass, cutting edge sounds and freestyle which over time has grown into more mellow combinations of the new sounds that have emerged: The latronica sounds of Andean step melded with glitch hop, experimental electronica, world bass, medicine music, afrobeat, and healing ambient vibrations to create dance floor soundscapes for manifesting movement and ecstatic dance. With the understanding that sound heals and dancing connects us to beyond the beyond, most sets are a journey through genres.
