I’m EIKI, a Norwegian house/tech house artist based in Spain, documenting what it really takes to build a DJ career.

I’ve wanted to be a DJ since I first saw Tiësto’s Innercity 1999 set and bought the CD afterwards. I’ve been in and out of DJing since 2002, but for years I let other people’s opinions hold me back. At some point I realized that if I’m going to build the life I want, I have to stop waiting for permission and start building it.

My music is made for escape. Sometimes it reflects everyday life; sometimes it’s a way out of it. Raw, energetic and rooted in the underground, with a focus on rhythm, movement and the feeling of being completely lost in a night.

I’m building my radioshow EIKI & Friends around the same idea: bringing people into my world, creating genuine experiences and connecting with people who want more than an ordinary life.

The message is simple: less dreaming, more building.
