808 is a vision of local DJs Benny Legg, Jamie Haslam and Nathaniel Andrews, along with graphic mastermind John Maddock. Determined to create a night that the ElectronicDanceMusic loving party animals of Fremantle can call their own. The 808 drum machine symbolizes the enduring creations by future-centric inventors of the past living out their full potential in the present.

Developed in the late 70s the 808 was rejected by the musical mainstream and subsequently adopted by a myriad of enduring sub genres that are converging in the present as the standard form of Electronica. Our humble objective is a genre bending master vision of the future shared in the here and now.
