The argument towards subtitles seems to be made solely by people who live in nations where most TV reveals and movies are both of their native language or dubbed. Where I reside most of the stuff on TV is international and has subtitles and only children's motion pictures are dubbed. When you've been studying subtitles your complete life, they do not really take your attention from different aspects of the film in any respect. However, I understand why people who find themselves not so used to subtitles can find it difficult to look at a movie and read subtitles on the identical time. The issue comes up once in a while, and I assume there's not much to do about it.
