A selected participant of the Keychange Programme 2022, Federica Furlani, AKA effe effe, is a viola graduated musician with academic master in electronic music and new technologies. Whilst studying, she also had the opportunity to deepen her interest in sound design, interaction design and art/sound installations at the prestigious UDK in Berlin. She has collaborated as a violist with national and international artists, including Einstuerzende Neubauten and Blonde Redhead. She works in sound design and composition of
music for theatre (Piccolo Teatro Milano and Biennale di Venezia), and she is one of the founding members of Officine Tesla with which
she carries out artistic research and laboratory activities on sound and technology.
In 2020 her track "sleepwalking" was included in a v/a promoted by 7K!. The following year, her first solo work "Tuning Scapes" was released by Neutral Mutation (aka NeMu), an experimental electronic music label based in Milan.
