I am currently one of the directors of Education 2Day, a relatively new company focusing upon the needs of the dis-engaged members of society, aged 16 to 18 and 19+, who are socially challenged academically and economically. Education 2Day is led by people who have come from a background which society recognises as requiring a different approach from the efforts that have been made to date.
Education 2Day’s aim is to address these short comings by answering the need identified by Ofsted to help cure the above, namely:
• Valuing unique learners;
• Creating a learning-centered environment; and
• Constructing individual meaning and sense of personal direction
• Assist individuals with change mechanisms for a sustainable future
Our aim is to enable the workless and young people to develop their essential life skills, namely self-awareness and employment prospects, by focusing upon the above. This will enable them to improve their social and economic well-being in society, wi
