The love for disco music started for me in the early 80s. I bought my first maxi single, Trans X - Living on video which is actually still a super hit. Italo was extremely popular in the discotheques and radio stations around The Hague, Het Westland and Rotterdam. I was very impressed with the Italo Disco and my attention was focused on the mixes and transitions that the same discotheques and radio stations played. I also wanted to mix!, so I bought two turntables and a mixing console and start to mix! A tape recorder, sequencer and sampler were soon introduced. I absolutely loved it. At that time I made many mixes for different radio stations.

Now more than 25 years later, I have picked up a bit of mixing again. Even though I am already turning gray, the love for Italo Disco has certainly not diminished.
