DJ Edgar Um [Hijack/Round Corner Cantina/Shame On...]

Edgar Um Bucholtz is a DJ, event producer, artist and improvising musician living in Pittsburgh. He is renown for his ability to DJ a wide range of music genres. Once a month, he performs at the Brillobox for “Shame On...”, a four-year running anything-goes jumparound dance party with longtime friend DJ Cutups. In late 2009, he became the resident DJ at the new Round Corner Cantina in Lawrenceville. In early 2009 with fellow DJs Aaron Clark and Ryan Walsh, he formed Hijack, a house and techno music event production consortium. For five years he has been a regular guest DJ at “Ya Dig?”, an old-school funk and soul every Tuesday night at Kelly’s Bar and Lounge. He is the music coordinator for the Sprout Fund's annual Hothouse event. He has been an event consultant and DJ for multiple incarnations of the Carnegie Museum of Art's Carnegie International--most recently "Life On Mars: 55th Carnegie International" in 2008.
