PLANK
We are the first, original Plank band! - Since 1997 we have been recording and playing our variation of Surf Rock all over Seattle and beyond. With the (first ever) live set played on Seattle's "The End" Radio Station with Andy Savage and making a great Surf album "Sounds of Manahoa," Plank emerges an American surf legend. On the radio and three compilation CDs that we know of including: [VA Heavy Surf instrumental Guitar compilation] [Swivlin' Wahini - Endless Exotica][How to stretch a dollar - Cheapskate records] all from 2000 to 2003. At the time I heard a Brazilian band was covering "Cyber Surf." Its a small world! From back in the day to now Plank is perpetuating the big N.W. sound that any Surf fan/Island Traveler or Tiki connoisseur can relate to. Their latest CD "To Surf Island with 400 HP" includes some Plank favorites and two new live recorded songs
