Ed Ministrate started mixing Drum'n'Bass-Tracks in 1996. Since then, his style evolved from Drum'n'Bass over Techno to his current style: a fusion of progressive Tech-House and Techno. His style self description:
"On parties I went to, most of the DJs were playing minimal and techno music. I wanted to try a new music style because after listening to some minimal techno and tech-house, I kinda liked that music but was really annoyed because everyone played it at a really slow speed. So I decided to speed it up a little to get the groove back into it. The result was a fusion of melodic tunes and fast grooving beats that represents my interpretation of what I like to call party-music! Slow enough to avoid headaches but fast enough to keep you from sitting down and be bored! ;-)"
