The Void [Warm-up set]

this set was an improvisational composition for an opening warm-up before an ecstatic dance at Dallas Movement Collective. it's comprised of layered tones and textures intended to move listeners into a meditative space.

after the set, two participants mentioned that it made them want to scream into the void, and i took that as inspiration for the name.

on a personal note: i am having a ton of fun playing around with this style of drone-y, ambient music and i'm starting to look at layering some of these into my traditional ecstatic dance sets!
