Eat Feed

Eat Feed is a home-grown, hand-made, free-range program celebrating seasonal, local, global, and historical food. One of the first food podcasts ever, we’ve been around since January 2005. Eat Feed was awarded the first Podcast of the Year award by the New Media Expo and named one of Slate’s favorites round about the same time.

Host Anne Bramley’s gastronomic knowledge is eclectic, her slant scholarly, her attitude adventurous and even a little bit quirky as she uncovers the intriguing stories behind the food that shapes our lives. Her husband, Daniel H. Foster, composes the theme songs, fixes the website, and allows himself to be driven mad managing the release of shows when he isn’t teaching theater studies at Duke University. They both stay up way too late to bring you free food — the kind of eccentricity and self-abuse they trained for by first getting PhD’s at the University of Chicago.
