Hi there!
First things first. My mixing techniques range from average to rather awful, but the tracklists are good at least (I hope). What's common in my mixes (or call them compilations or selections or whatever) is that they are all inspired by movies or have some sort of cinamatic themes in them. If not, than I'm just as surprised as you are.
