Since the moment he spun his first record at 14 dumbfunk has been hooked on dj-ing. This led him to GIROS Belfast for monthly techno events which regulary hosted dave the drummer, chris liberator, etc. He also attended weekly events held by SHINE in Belfast regular guests were Dave Clarke, Dj Rush, Carl Cox etc. These nights have all influenced dumbfunk's own particular dj-ing style.
At the age of 19 dumbfunk moved to berlin were he lived for 2 years.This is where his sound was really developed as he trooped around the numerous clubs; Berghain, Panorama Bar, Watergate and exerienced the different styles they have to offer. Now settled on his own style he returned home. During this time he and a friend decided to join force in a side project designed to test the boundaires of electronic music called Generic Audio Djs. G.A.D provide electric dj sets and in 2013 remixes and a live set are in the pipe line.
