Dudes Will Be Dudes, is written/produced/recorded by Joe Mendonca. Portland, Oregon has been the home to this project, since 2006.

Sounding like a haunting desert soundtrack, played through a Trans Am dashboard, kicking up dusty, dirtied beats, organ, synth, mellotron, hip-hop, dub, spaghetti western, all coming out of a half-old tape machine, half-busted turntable.

Dudes Will Be Dudes has collaborated with Spencer Moody (Murder City Devils), Guilty Simpson, Vast Aire (Cannibal Ox), Libretto, Bushido Garvey, and is continually working on new projects. Mendonca was also featured on Portugal. The Man's debut "Waiter: You Vultures!" album.Up ahead, a full-length album is in the works.

Next, is an appearance on Libretto's upcoming single "Hit Or Miss", featuring Boots Riley (The Coup, Street Sweeper Social Club).
