DJ SK

Born and bred in East London, DJ SK's musical roots run deep through reggae, lovers rock, rare groove, hip hop, R&B, jazz and early 90's rave. Inspired by DJ Ron's TNT Roadshow sets and DJ Redant's groundbreaking Rush FM blends of ragga acapellas and hardcore, he developed a unique approach to jungle and drum & bass. As a Sony Street Team intern in 1999, he gained access to exclusive US promo vinyl and began blending acapellas with jungle classics. A Subtle Radio resident since 2017, DJ SK is known for soulful yet dark jungle, deep sub-bass, personalised dubplates and high-energy sets alongside Mista Frenzy, Bazil MC and LineFizzy.
