Dr Skunkenstein is based in the South U.K. When hip hop culture first hit U.K shores around 1983, he was instantly taken in by the whole scene. His main love was the music, in particular, the alien sounds of electrofunk. He got his first set of belt drive decks in 1986 and any cash he did have went on records. The love for all things electronic never left him. He eventually moved into production and began searching for ways to take his DJ sets further with the use of modern technology, both with turntables and digital techniques. The Doc is also the label boss of Electrolab Records, whether there will be anymore releases on the label is anyones guess. He has Dj`ed all around the U.K and thoughout Europe and also played a legendary live set on the moon.
