Holiday Stress
December 21, 2012 - 'Tis the season to be...lonely, sad, depressed, broke, stressed, anxious, frazzled, disappointed? Christmas is right around the corner and it’s a joyous time to celebrate the birth of Christ, spend time with friends and family, and exchange gifts, but not everyone is looking forward to Christmas. For many, the holidays are a stressful, difficult time. Some people are alone on Christmas and there are those who are overwhelmed by the pressure to spend money they don’t have.
Today also marks one week since the tragic deaths of 20 school children and 6 adults in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. For the survivors, family members of those killed, and for so many of us, this Christmas is a sad reminder of our loved ones who have passed away and are no longer here.
If you're feeling stressed out by the holidays, tune in and learn how to beat the holiday blues. My guest is Apostle Phillip Smith, Jr., senior pastor of Colorado Christian Fellowship.
