DROcasso was born and raised in Boston, MA with his younger sister, Latania Knights, under the guidance of both parents, Francisco & Alicia Knights. The Knights family has been blessed with the gift of music and have accomplished a lot through out the decades. From his aunt, Hortensia Gooding, who sung back up to Whitney Houston, Lydia Gooding who exhibited mind boogling poetry, to his next aunt, La Atrevida aka Rude Girl, who became the first Latin American female in Reggaeton to sign to a major label; They were both big influences toward his music career and became the blueprint to what is now, DROcasso, a great all around artist. He first started rapping in the early in his childhood under the name, MC Chek, with a group called Mass Confusion. This group consisted of two rappers, MC Chek and K-Dawg, plus a chatter named Likle Red.
