Ok, I am complicated. After high school I spent many years finding out who I was. I explored martial arts, music, theater, dance, sports, different types of music. I forged friendships with a wide variety of people, all of whom have taught me so much, and for whom I will always be grateful.

I was a scientist for a while, but left because my heart lay in working with the community. I wanted desperately to affect people's lives directly.

My family raised me to be an independent thinker, and while that has at times caused pain in my life it has given me the following:

-Many beautiful friends
-Many beautiful memories
-An appreciation of nature and of people and of humor
-A rewarding career working with children
-An athletic, capable physique (many thought THAT would never happen!)
-A severe love of music and dance
-A love for all the universe has blessed us with
